From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm reception I received. Caroline, the host, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that my stay was exceptional. Her knowledge of the local area is remarkable, thanks to her previous work with the Cognac Houses. She even took the time to accompany me to the gas station and show me how to use the pumps - talk about personalized service!

The location was perfect, with the Charente river right nearby. We had so much fun taking walks along the banks, and even tried canoeing and kayaking, which were such thrilling experiences. We also went on a boat cruise and it was so cool to see the town from a different perspective. It was definitely an action-packed vacation that we'll never forget!
The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene in the town. While there were some bars and pubs, we would have loved to have more options for young party-goers like us.

Jaw-droppingly beautiful hotel in a charming town, with a historical building that has been brilliantly remodeled into a comfortable and harmonious space. Caroline provided spectacular service, offering efficient recommendations and assistance with reservations for taxis, museums, and distilleries. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, lovely linens, and fabulous bathrooms. The location is perfect, with the river and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!
